1) Oil and filter change
2) Service automatic transmission. Includes dropping sump and cleaning or replacement of filter. (Filter replacement in all Mercedes and late model BMW with four and six cylinder engines). Replacement of fluid in manual transmissions.
3) Replacement of gear oil in differential.
4) Flushing of brake fluid with power bleeder. Inspection of brake and hydraulic hoses. Inspection of all hydraulic cylinders.
5) Inspection of battery electrolyte and engine coolant, noting coolant strength. Replacement of coolant in BMWs with M42, M44, or all aluminum engines.
6) Inspection of belts and coolant hoses. (Note: regardless of visual condition of hoses, troublesome hoses on certain models should be changed at regular intervals. Ask your service writer for his recommendation). Inspect fuel lines for leaks and condition, tighten clamps as needed.
7) Replacement of fuel filter and engine air filter.
8) Replacement of spark plugs. Inspection of ignition car and rotor when applicable. Inspection of secondary ignition wires and coils for wear and misfires.
9) Valve adjustment when applicable.
10) Confirmation of engine management system controls by use of a four gas analyzer. Adjustments made when applicable. Test 02 sensors and catalytic converters for proper operation.
11) Inspect exhaust system for leaks and rattles. Inspect exhaust hangers for wear.
12) Inspect drive shaft for play in u-joints, center bearing and flex discs (guibo).
13) Inspect half shafts for CV joint play. Inspect CV boots for wear.
14) Pull wheels and inspect brake pads and rotors, noting remaining pad life and rotor thickness.
15) Inspect wheel bearings for play and deterioration.
16) Inspect tires for unusual wear, rotate as needed. Adjust tire pressure. Check spare tire condition. Tire balancing available.
17) Inspect steering linkage for wear and play. Alignments available upon request.
18) Lube undercarriage with Teflon penetrate and grease when applicable.
19) Check electrical systems for proper operation. Check all running lights, headlamps and turn signals.
20) Run air conditioning system and note effectiveness. Recycling of freon available upon request. Replace ventilation micro filter when applicable.
21) Lube all doors, including trunk and bonnet. Lube and adjust all latches.
22) Attend to clients notes regarding any complaints about the vehicle.
